B.E.D. is Re-opening!

B.E.D. (Beverage Entertainment Dining), one of the first successful rooftops in Manhattan was shuttered immediately after a patron was inadvertently pushed down the elevator shaft by bouncer Granville Adams during an altercation last year. Now the owners of Mansion and Pink Elephant are teaming up to revive Club Row and give it a rooftop party again. It will be most likely named “Sky Garden.” We also have read on Gothamist that after the summer, the building will be turned into a major film production facility and hotel, replete with a super-private club.  The hotel idea sounds great to us for a family vacation to New York; what can be more desirable than to look out your window at 3 A.M. to see girls who are way toounder-dressed throwing up in the street? Hmm…beats us!

Find Your Alter Ego w. Dirty Jax!

A few months ago we came across a brand new clothing line called Dirty Jax. We recently found the line @ Michael K in SoHo (where we picked up the shirt featured above). In a recent conversation with the founder of Dirty Jax, Josh Kimerling, we found out more about the brand. Josh was a former nightclub promoter who worked a 9-5 at an ad agency in Manhattan. Sick of the monotony of a 9-5 job, Josh quit and found his alter ego with Dirty Jax. With a shirt that reads “Chronic Bottle Popper,” we can see how Josh’s nightclub promoting days have influenced the line. Rev Run “Runnin” Herald Square

May 15th Rev Run is coming to launch his new Run Athletics ICON sneaker @ Footaction on the corner of 34th and 7th (diagonal from Macy’s). It’s going on from 3 P.M. – 5 P.M. The Footaction itself is fairly large, but not as large as the crowd that will inevitably form once word gets out that Run will be there – - moral of the story, get there early if you want to see him..or catch him @ MSG at 8 P.M. taking the stage with Kid Rock.  We’re going to be there – so stop back tomorrow for some pictures…but for now check out the new kicks below; what do you think of them?
