Bigger, Stronger, Faster – The American Way?

From the producers of Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine comes a new documentary about steroid use in America.  Director, Christopher Bell takes us through his journey growing up idolizing his heroes Sylvester Stallone and Hulk Hogan, to only find out they achieved greatness through the use of anabolic-steroids.  Like director Michael Moore, Bell uses comedy to display the disconnect between American culture and American laws on steroid use.  Bigger, Stronger, Faster comes out May 30th. We’re excited to see Christopher Bells debut documentary about a topic that receives, in our opinion, way too much press.  View the trailer below and check out what we think about this topic/movie, go to the comments page.

We’re not going to say much about our thoughts on steroids, but we will say this: Steroids should be used if so desired by athletes with DIRECT supervision from a doctor WHO will be the only distributor of the drugs. Steroid use, especially in men over 25 (who have decreasing levels of testosterone in their body) can be HELPFUL rather than harmful. Lower testosterone is more dangerous than supplementing normal doses into your body.

*Disclaimer: None of the writers of A.M. Lifestyle are using or have used anabolic steroids.
